Hi! I am Ashutosh Kumar, a master’s student of Artificial Intelligence at Rochester Institute of Technology, NY, USA. I completed my undergraduate in Engineering Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India in 2023.
My passion lies in the intersection of Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Operations Research. Recently, I’ve been working on a bio-inspired algorithm for low-visibility object detection, explored Generative AI, and published work on Hierarchical Prompting Taxonomy in Large Language Models. I’m also fascinated by Neurosymbolic AI and AI for healthcare, having completed my bachelor’s thesis on Anomaly Detection in Digital Chest X-Rays. This summer, I worked on a data fusion algorithm for a global vaccine prioritization model at Rochester Institute of Technology, NY, USA in collaboration with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Outside academia, I am a huge fan of cricket. I love to read books, write poetry, play cricket and badminton.
